3rd grade students enjoyed sketching the beautiful artwork inside church. Students used the Elements of Arts to create Line, Shape and Value to sketch in situ. Check out our photo's below:

Sketch Day 2023
Artist's in grades 6th through 8th competed in Sketch Day this year. Students sketched outside the Capitol building in lovely, sunny weather for over two hours, then enjoyed lunch outside. Students artwork could place in one of four awards: Highest Honor, High Honor, Honor and Exhibitor. St Peters artists were awarded the following ribbons:
Brenden Ralston 6th awarded Honor, Brock Berhorst 6th awarded Exhibitor, Olivia Bandy 7th awarded Exhibitor, Bergen Jacobek 7th awarded Highest Honor, Taylor Kinkade 7th awarded High Honor, Leah Gassen 8th awarded Highest Honor, Shawn Stock 7th awarded High Honor, and Elaina Wood 8th awarded Highest Honor.
