St. Peter Catholic School Art Room

 Students participated in a group artwork for their Homeroom teacher. Each student worked on a poster with a Peace sign for our schools mission this year, "God is Peace." See below for photos of artists working together! 

 Fifth through Eighth grade students are implementing the Elements of Art to create an educational poster on Substance Abuse. Students have learned about the history of the "Just say No" campaign and have the option to participate in the regional contest for a cash prize. Check out 6th grade working hard:

8th grade has begun restoring the Butterfly sculpture that was donated to our Art Room.  Students worked hard plastering cracks and sanding the sculpture. After a few days air drying, students applied two coats of white paint. Now we have a blank "canvas" to create our class design.  We plan on installing our finished Butterfly in the garden for everyone at our school to enjoy.  Check out the process so far!
