It's the end of the year and our youngest artists are doing Self Portraits! Students learned about the components of drawing a realistic Self Portrait. They learned about skin tones, hair color, and how to draw different facial features. However, there was a twist to this project: students drew what they thought they would look like next year! For example, would they get freckles or get their ears pierced over summer break, or would they cut their hair or grow it out? Ms. Thurman will hang up our self portraits when we return after break to compare. Check our creative process below:
