Our Ancient Roman City!

 Students in grades sixth, seventh and eighth completed their ancient Roman structures. Artists worked together in groups to design an ancient building based on art, artifact and architecture that they investigate from ancient Athens and Imperial Rome. Students compared and contrasted themes in ancient Roman art with contemporary Western architecture. We enjoyed discussing the art and applying our knowledge to our projects to create an original building!
