Meet our amazing Helias helpers, Cam and Wyatt. They've joined us for a few classes this month and will be with us until mid-April. Poster Prep: Self Portrait with Words

 The past few class periods students in grades 6-8th have been working towards creating their "About Me" poster. This project challenges students to create a self portrait and find words that reflect their personality. Previous student examples are shown below.               We have been learning about the Art Nouveau movement to help brainstorm different elements for our posters. Students engaged with famous artists like  Alphonse Mucha and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.                                               Students viewed many different Rock Posters featuring artistic elements from the Art Nouveau movement.
